SUMMER TRIP TO ABERDEEN AND ENVIRONS
Four days: Friday 7th to Monday 10th July 2017
This year we made a trip to the 'silver granite city' of Aberdeen, and the counties of Aberdeenshire and Moray.
As we were travelling further than usual, we took the train to Aberdeen. This is a journey with dramatic coastal scenery and spectacular bridges to cross. We hired a coach to pick us up at the station.
Our accommodation, with dinner and breakfast, was in an art deco style hotel within easy reach of the town centre and very close to the 'Old Town' area of Aberdeen.
